St Mawes and the Roseland peninsula are a short distance away via the King Harry ferry. Or why not take a riverboat trip along the beautiful Fal estuary from Falmouth to Truro?

The Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Glendurgan, Trebah, the Helford River….they are all within an hour’s drive, as is the stunning Tate St Ives art gallery, the Bodmin & Wenford steam railway, Flambards theme park and lots more besides!

We are less than 30 minutes by car from:

  • Magnificent beaches and stunning coastlines to north and south - Perranporth, with its three miles of golden sands is just ten miles away
  • The shops and cafes of the cathedral city of Truro - voted “best small city in England”
  • The historic port of Falmouth, with its new National Maritime Museum and Pendennis Castle
  • The National Trust’s superb Trelissick Gardens
  • Working examples of old Cornish mine engines

For the more energetic, the Devoran-Portreath Coast to Coast Trail passes through the Carnon Valley at the foot of the hill and cycles can be hired in Bissoe, whilst horse-riding is on offer from stables a couple of miles away.
